I have learnt basic C, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, and very very basic Python and Javascript. But the idea of entire projects daunts me, and I doubt my level of proficiency.
How proficient must I be in the required languages?
In fact, I think I should start from the absolute basics, so what language would you guys recommend I begin with? And how do I start small?
I looked at a couple of training missions, and it seemed like there was going to be a lot of command line stuff. I have a Windows running machine, and I'm really comfortable with it. But would you recommend I get another OS to run side-by-side? And which one? I guess I'd be okay with Ubuntu, but I'm open to others too.
It would be best if you treated me as a complete beginner while replying.
hey buddy .. no one out here is helping actually. In fact, I am in the same dilemma as you are. And I've started some threads regarding volunteer opportunities but no one has replied yet. So I think u should look for some other alternatives like Freashmeat.com
